My name is David Goodfellow, and I’m a recent transplant to North Carolina from the Seattle, Washington area.  I’m 74 at the time of this writing, and am living with diabetes and kidney failure.  The key word here is living!  And I’m having a great time, despite the regular “time outs” for insulin shots and dialysis.

I was married for 23 years, and have been widowed for that long.  The first few years of widowhood were pretty grim, but gradually I came out of the dumps and started enjoying life again.

Probably I’ll add more information to this page as I develop this blog.
